Welcome to the portfolio of Loïc Houdié (game programmer).
Here you can see some school projects I've worked on with a group, but also side projects I did on my own.
I am currently a Junior, I began in the video games industry as a Gameplay Programmer Intern at Midgar Studio and I've worked on Edge of Memories.
I've studied at the school Creajeux. During these years I've learned different languages (Lua, C, C++ and C#) along with some Game Engines/Frameworks (Love2D, SFML, Unity and Unreal Engine 5).
During my free time I've also learn a bit of Python and got a bit interested in Machine Learning. Studying at Creajeux learned me how to work in group on a game, have resposabilities and respect deadlines, for exemple with my group we worked on Mine'd, a 2D Platform/Puzzle game and The Last Soul, a 3D Action/Adventure game.
In my free time, I also work on side projects such as Project Infiltration, a Stealth/Action prototype heavily inspired by the Metal Gear franchise.
